We aim to eliminate disposable plastics, and waste in general from children's school and art supplies whenever possible (it's always possible). That's why all of the notebooks in our line are maxed at 44 pages. When notebooks have loads of pages, most of that paper goes unused before a new notebook is started.
Side note: Kids don't need disposable plastic markers and kitschy things like glitter pens and twistable crayons that all pollute air, water, and soil forever in order to draw pictures and tell stories. Their grandparents didn't grow up with any of that garbage and they managed to draw and tell stories with the best of them. We recommend common sense, colored pencils, wax-peel markers, and Stabilo 3-in-1 markers.
