Fewer Pages = Less Waste
At every locker-clean-out, we thumb through countless stacks of discarded comp books, and the pages are mostly blank. And by mostly, I mean minimum 3/4 to 4/4 blank.
That's buying and recycling never used paper.
If students are writing less on paper these days, common sense dictates using smaller comp books.
*The comp books we find that are mostly used?
School print outs are folded in half and taped onto the blank pages of the comp book.
This system doubles the waste, since the comp book is filled with 2x the paper, plus tape (can't recycle it with all that tape).
The whole thing = landfill. Forever.
