Larger, unanticipated school orders are shaking up our inventory, and it's going to change how we operate the business - more on that soon.
Boxes of 1 dozen pencils for example. We've never been sold out in July before, but here we are. We do have some of the pencils in bulk, but we need to protect them in shipping, so we've combined them with our recyclable aluminum pencil tins and a rubber band to keep it all secure.
10 of our all time favorite pencils fitted in our recyclable aluminum pencil tin - secured with a natural rubber band (keeps it from popping open in a backpack or bag).

Unpainted Pencil: Our favorite pencil ever. Made from sustainably-forested incense cedar by General’s Pencil Company in New Jersey (one of the last American pencil factories), and not sullied by a coat of paint that creates micro plastics when sharpened (paint is plastic).
Tin: 7 5/8" x 1 7/8" x 5/8"
Hundreds of millions of plastic, vinyl, nylon, and canvas pencil cases are eternally stuck in landfills, and millions more sit on store shelves soon to be added.
Our recyclable aluminum pencil tin is intentionally slim and fitted with the essentials you need, and nothing you don't.

SHIPPING
Orders typically packed within 24-48 hours Monday - Friday.
Orders ship via USPS or UPS. Shipping prices are the actual rates we pay (the true cost of shipping from Northern CA. - Sorry Maine!). As we grow, we will negotiate more favorable shipping rates, but for now, we pack every order (plastic-free), load up our cars, and deliver to a post office in a nearby town because our local Post Office refuses to accept or pick up the “large” number of packages we have outgoing on a normal basis.
Thanks for your patience while we navigate how to scale what we’re doing!

Purchased:10 pencils with tin case, 3 rubber erasers and 5 binders.
As our family is learning and becoming more sustainable, I was pleasantly surprised to find a company in our backyard. We cannot speak highly enough about the quality, simplicity and beauty of each product. The company has great education on sustainability and now my kiddos are questioning the need of painted pencils.
The pencils: besides their beauty, the eraser is soft and works, it sharpens perfectly with an electric sharpener and has not broken when in use.
The rubber eraser: we ordered 3 small ones and they fit inside the pencil tin with the pencils. though we may order the larger ones going forward depending on how long these last. We do a lot of drawing over here.
The binders: Quality, quality, quality! They are thick and in the best way. We will be using these for at least a few years before needing a replacement. They were easy to put together and the simplicity allows them to look great while out or offers the opportunity for one to be creative and personalize it.

New features based on teacher survey feedback:
+ Monthly At-A-Glance Expanded to two page spread accompanied with a full notes page
+ Months visually tabbed to easily flip to current month
+ 6 columns per weekday - 3 columns per weekend day
+ Optional header line for subjects
+ Perforated corners
Highly requested additional note pages.
We received a number of requests for additional notes pages in the Weekly Planner, but this year the page count was increased a full 16 pages due to the inclusion of monthly spreads throughout the book. Adding 4 more notes pages (requires increments of 4) pushed it beyond our wallet zone with paper availability scarce, and costs at record highs.
